remember to blog, pt. 4,3947,503,745!

So yeah. It’s been a bit quiet over here lately. Sorry about that. I promise that I’m still alive and have suffered no great physical injuries.

Every now and then–especially after prolonged periods of being social and speaking out regularly–I kind of go into a “turtle” mode and pull back from being outspoken. This happens across pretty much all forms of social media, starting with the more complicated stuff (blogs) and then eventually spreading out to even little things like Twitter. And it’s something I’ve done ever since I was a kid, so I guess it’s just part of my personality.

I tell myself that I do this because nobody cares about what I have to say. Or, if what I want to say involves another person, I don’t want to say something that will hurt them or that I’ll regret later. So I stay silent, and process things on my own. Not necessarily a bad thing, but also not great for blogging or other things involving me talking about…well, anything.

So I’m here, and I’m back again, even though it might take me awhile to get back into the same swing of things that I had going on before. A lot of stuff has happened to me over the past month, but I’m not sure if I want to talk about any of it here. Hopefully all of you have been well, my faithful readers, and continue to be so. I promise you lots of adorable Minecraft pictures and maybe even a short story or two. (Yes, I know I’ve been talking about that for awhile now without any real progress…but I still want to make it happen!) Stay tuned!
